Lea Wood, NP

Lea Wood is a dedicated and passionate women's health care provider with over two decades of experience. Her journey began in the fast-paced environment of the Emergency Room as a Registered Nurse (RN). Following the birth of her son, Lea found a calling in Labor and Delivery, where she spent 18 years empowering women throughout their birthing and postpartum experiences. To further her passion for postpartum care, she became a board certified Lactation Consultant and taught breast-feeding, infant care, and childbirth classes.

Driven by a desire to further support her patients, Lea pursued a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and became a board-certified Adult-Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGNP-C) from the University of Texas at Arlington. Her commitment to patient advocacy extends beyond traditional medicine, as she has spent the past five years actively researching and incorporating optimal aging therapies, peptides, supplements, and bioidentical hormones into her practice.

When not providing exceptional care to her patients, Lea enjoys spending time outdoors with her family. You might find her cycling, gardening, body surfing, or hiking with her husband and two college sons.
