Beverly Sansone, MD
Fellow, American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology
Diplomate, American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology
Dr. Beverly Sansone has been practicing medicine for almost 30 years. Born to an Italian father and Polish mother, she was raised in a suburb of Detroit. In high school she was intrigued with how the body works and realized that by studying medicine she could use science and still closely interact with people. Dr. Sansone graduated from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology and Biochemistry and attended medical school there until 1983.
In 1984, she made her way out to Los Angeles and completed her residency at White Memorial Medical Center. A lover of the outdoors, Dr. Sansone immediately fell in love with the warm weather and remained in Southern California as an Associate Clinical Professor at UCI College of Medicine for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In 1995, Dr. Sansone joined The Women’s Health Center and has been a pillar for the practice ever since. “I enjoy working with the other physicians—we all make a good team. And the patients are fun and interesting and I continue to be amazed by what I learn from them.”
When she’s not busy seeing patients, you can find Dr. Sansone having a potluck with friends or outdoors exploring nature’s beauty. Her favorite activities include traveling, hiking (she’s even climbed the Half Dome in Yosemite!), biking, cross-country skiing, and time on the beach.
